At Camping Lac du Marandan in Saint-Romans, Isère, people come to relax… but also to keep themselves busy without overcomplicating things. Not to mention free, direct access to Lac du Marandan at the foot of the Vercors mountains, for a refreshing swim and water sports, to fill your day with excitement. So, ready to discover them?
Lake Marandan (direct access) is the perfect spot for a swim surrounded by nature. A fully equipped area all around: water sports, sports fields, a playground, a snack bar… Free entry / supervised swimming in July and August. For those who prefer to laze in the sun (and we understand why), the fine sandy beach is the ideal spot. For hygiene reasons, dogs are not allowed on the beach (although we love them!).
Whether you need information, advice or even a smile, reception is the place to be. We’ll be delighted to welcome you and advise you on what to do in the area!
Delicious local bread and crispy pastries to start your day off right! Order the night before for delivery the next morning at reception. Service available during high season.
Need to stock up or take home a little local souvenir? The small grocery shop on the campsite offers a range of local products, carefully selected for you to enjoy or to slip into your suitcase!
Because a gourmet break is always a good idea: ice creams and hot and cold drinks on sale to recharge your batteries!
Because even on holiday, you sometimes need to do some washing: there’s a launderette on the campsite so you won’t be short of anything.
No need to bring everything with you! We provide facilities for your little ones and have a dedicated area in the toilet block.
A waste disposal and refilling area is at your disposal.
Come and enjoy the snack bar, which serves simple, home-style food. In summer, you can sit out on the terrace and enjoy a bite to eat or a drink whilst taking in the lovely view of the lake. It’s got a real open-air café vibe, so you can make the most of summer at the campsite!
Need to keep the little ones entertained? Head to the playground, located right by the campsite entrance.
Because pétanque is sacred. Come and challenge your friends or fellow campers on the pétanque court. And if you’re feeling peckish (it happens…), the snack bar is right next door and there are picnic tables available for you to use!
For a fun get-together with friends or family, head to the outdoor play area. If you fancy a friendly competition, there’s a tennis court and a beach volleyball court available in the area around the lake. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the fresh air and the surrounding countryside!
Head for Lake Marandan! Hop into a canoe or on a paddleboard and set off for a leisurely trip on the water. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the natural surroundings (which are actually quite lovely) and share a fun time with family or friends. It’s free for campers!
